I was using AVG 2012 trial version for one month. When I uninstalled AVG after one month, I was unable to connect to the net which was showing an error code 720. After a system recovery I gained network access but now whenever I try to open a folder the system is crashing. Is there anything I could do to save all my data???? The OS is Vista Home Basic. Laptop model is Compaq Presario CQ60. Is there any tool in the system or in the net through which I can save all my data. PLEASE HELP !!!!!! my mail id is xxxxxx. I can provide more info if needed.... PLEASE HELP !!!!!! Thanks in advance.

go to the Control Panel ->Admin Tools->Event Viewer.
double click on the System and then scroll for Error events.

double click on the Error to get the details. On the right side are two arrows
and a Copy Icon. Click on it ONCE to put that information into your clipbook
and then come back here and PASTE into your follow-up.

BTW: You can boot into Save Mode by tapping F8 once per second which will give
you a minimal system and you can again test folder open from there. This should
work.
