I don't know if anybody has seen the show on discovery channel Whale Wars, where a boat named the Steve Irwin attempts to thwart Japanese whalers' efforts. This boat may be joining them soon.

The boat was originally built to break the world circumnavigation record in 2007.

This is not Batman's boat but rather Earthrace, the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society's ultraslick bio-diesel-powered anti-whaling speedboat. It's 80-feet long and very stealthy. Next month, it will head out to the seas around Japan to protest the country's whaling industry. It features a carbon/Kevlar-hulled, 1080-Horsepower, and a sharp bow meant to harpoon waves rather than go up and over them.
