![]() Friday October 16th Mozilla is set to release Firefox 3.6 Beta. The updates are set for: * Lightweight themes * Faster JavaScript handling * Improved form completion tools * Bookmark synchronization * Page load enhancements * Optimized session restore * A few additions to the CSS tech * Outdated plug-ins check The big update, Mozilla Firefox 4.0, is supposed to be released sometime in 2010. "Firefox feels dated and behind on Windows," the developers have written. "Especially Vista and Windows 7. These issues include absence of Glass, anemic purple toolbar color on Vista, tall and bulky UI footprint, element overload, inconsistent toolbar icon usage/style, lack of a tactile look & feel and perhaps too great of a divergence between the look on XP and Vista/7."

| It's interesting to read that the developers are considering Firefox behind IE! I would never give that description! It was the uniqueness of Firefox that forced MS is put out IE7 BEFORE Vista! I still have FF v3.0.14- didn't get v3.5 because there were some printing problems with it. Wonder if that was resolved. It wouldn't print the URL/Date on the pages.
